I've know Birch Bay Ranch since 1989 and was a
camper from 89-94 and staff for a few weeks in 95. Birch Bay ranch was a
major part of my childhood and even growing up. The leadership at Birch Bay were instrumental in my coming to know God.
Birch
Bay ranch changed my life in unimaginable ways where now even after 20
years, I'm still at the ranch, seeking God, growing with God, and the
ranch has provided me with a safe place to heal from some of the
troubles in my own life. Birch Bay Ranch is more than a ranch, it's like
a sanctuary, a place of respite and also a place where it gives me the
heart to worship god as well.
The heart of Birch Bay in my opinion is not that of just finding God but so much more
Birch Bay Ranch is responsible for healing the hearts of thousands of people, it's become a focal point for those who seek growth, there have been many friendships made, weddings, and more. To me Birch Bay Ranch is all about growth. This past summer had the topic of Growth and Growing with and IN God.

The
closing of Birch Bay Ranch would cause irreparable and detrimental harm
to those whose lives have been changed and affected by the staff,
volunteers and will deprive the
future campers, staff, volunteers and organizations with of a place that
creates life, hope and growth in unimaginable ways. I will never forget
those who've I've made friends with over the years, and all the hard
work that had gone into the ranch to make it what it is.
Birch Bay will always be like a second home in my heart. Birch Bay is more than a place to come to God, it's Family as well.
I
pray that Birch Bay Ranch will continue to change the lives of those of
the future. Birch Bay Ranch is a place thats
bother nurturing and safe for everyone.
Sincerely
Past Camper (89-94), Staff (95), Volunteer (2013)
