100% Gospel Impact

Birch Bay Ranch has been incredibly important to me and my family over the years. I spent the formative years of my ministry there, learning from the best. Every year BBR reaches hundreds of Children for Christ. Annually over 100 children make a commitment to Christ there. I know because I organized the statistics for 2 years. By closing Birch Bay Ranch, hundreds of Children will not have that same opportunity to hear of Christ.

The Bible says:

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:5)
and again:

" Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me." (Matt 25:45) and also:

"But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." (Matt 19:14)

I started Dating My wife At BBR. We Got engaged there, and when we got married, Darryl Fraess serenaded us. My Children were both born while I worked there. They wouldn't exist without BBR. I was at BBR for 9 summers, and loved everyone. I have seen hundreds of children come to Christ at BBR over the years. There really is no other place like a camp for pure 100% gospel impact.

I am currently working at another Camp, but BBR is still very dear to me. This summer I had a person come up to me at camp, and ask where she'd seen me before. Turns out I had help guide her to Christ like 10 years ago... This isn't isolated, and happens lots. She now is a youth leader with her husband.

God is in Control. I was reminded of this today as I was churning over in my heart the events transpiring at BBR. God's will is always realized. Our prayer ought to be thy will be done. God will see His church grow. Certainly we should express our concerns and feelings, but we can rest assured that God is in control, and as Matt 6:10 reads: "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven."
