In a large portion of my youth, I was very troubled emotionally and mentally, I came to BBR as a camper and literally had my first taste of a real friendship with the campers I had met. A year later finding myself in bad situations attempted to end my life several times. The friends that I met here whom became staff, encouraged me to find god in this camp. and I most certainly did in a way I could have never expected.
Being able to save my own life and touch the lives of many campers has saved my life thanks to the words and experiences taught at Birch Bay Ranch. Several years have past and I can fully call the ranch a home.
Keeping it running so many more children and teens can experience the love of God in such a positive light as I have. would mean the world to me.
