Our two youngest returned year after year and in turn became
counsellors and staff. They learned
about hard work, responsibility, leadership and sharing their faith. The Ranch drew them like a magnet and I have always
believed it was God’s love they saw being played out in community that kept
them coming back and still does.
Birch Bay Ranch has been like a beacon of light for our
family and so many others, showing our children a clear path through the love
of Christ in action in a world that has so many negative paths to attract our
youth. Now the Ranch is in trouble and I
am saddened to think that this wonderful place that has had such a positive
impact on so many for so long may not continue.
We have four grandchildren and I pray that God will provide a
way for my precious grandchildren and many other deserving children to
experience the Ranch as my children have.
