I have been a camper at Birch Bay every summer for the past
6 years, and soon I hope that I may work there soon. When you fall in
love with a place, you come to appreciate it on so many levels. The
people you know or the people you meet, the smiles a person sees but
most of all the message and feeling that Birch Bay delivers to every
person that walks on to the property. The feeling of unconditional love
and the message that whoever you are or where ever your are God loves
you.
When asked what camp means to me, I become overwhelmed with
the amount of thoughts that pertain to what Birch Bay has provided for
me. Whether it's opportunities to try something new or to test my limits
, I am given the freedom and encouragement while being taught life long
lessons like communication, honesty, respect and God.
