The Prayer Walk was attended by Birch Bay Ranch alumni and
supporters from early 1970s to present day. It was so encouraging to connect with several
generations of people who served in this ministry and who were positively
impacted by it throughout the decades.

“It was so cool to watch the
different generations of ministry and love get together. I also got to see the
people who did “I Have A Pain” when my mom was a camper,” said Garrett
Fraess.
We started off the Prayer Walk with
a prayer of praise and thanksgiving.
Birch Bay Ranch has been such an amazing blessing to all of us. God has continued to provide this ministry
with its physical and spiritual needs from when the first shovel went into the
ground until now. When you pray for
Birch Bay Ranch, remember to give thanks for all that it already has, for all of the hearts that have been changed, and
lives that are saved (and will be saved) in God’s care at the ranch.
We walked from the Cedar Lodge, to
the horse area, the indoor riding arena, boys dorms and future cabin site,
girls dorms, ropes course, lakefront campfire area, archery range and finished
in the Main Lodge. There we fellowshipped
with one another and enjoyed delicious cinnamon buns warm and fresh out of the
oven!
This Prayer Walk brought a sense of
peace and belonging to our hearts. The
weather was perfect and the fall colours were absolutely stunning as we walked
through the property. It was such a
success that we hope to make this an annual event. In the spirit of thanksgiving, we invite you
to join us in continual prayer for Birch Bay Ranch and its ministry.
Please continue to pray for:
- The ministry. That children and adults will continue to discover God and experience positive life change year round!
- The property and buildings. Pray a blessing over the property and the buildings this ministry needs to continue to be successful.
- Indoor Riding Arena: This building is beautiful but cannot be complete until a solution is found for the fire-emergency water supply.
- New cabins: Birch Bay Ranch needs new cabins!!
- The staff. Please pray for the current seasonal staff, volunteers and specifically for the year round staff at Birch Bay Ranch
- Fraess Family: Darryl, Sharon, Ronald, Garrett and Shyla.
- Eric & Deanna Barker

- The people. Please pray for the campers, school groups, church groups and community groups that use Birch Bay Ranch. May they be kept safe, have fun, and be touched by BBR's ministry.
- The Board of Directors. Lift up the governing body of the Birch Bay Ranch Association. Pray that they receive wisdom, discernment, love and support.
- The programs and activities (Let's thank God for the great things we have at Birch Bay Ranch)
- Horses: pray for the continued health of these beautiful animals, safety in trail rides and lessons, and that they can continue to be a tool in the ministry.
- Ropes Course: pray for the continued safety of this activity. That it will generate stories of adventure, self confidence, and victory from the people who experience it.
- Summer Camp programming: that the program of last summer will resonate in the hearts of campers who heard the gospel message at BBR. Pray for the future program including chapels, campfires, skits and speakers - that the message will fall on open and prepared hearts.
- The Heart of Birch Bay Ranch: please pray for us too! That we can continue to generate support for Birch Bay Ranch that will help take the ministry successfully in the future.
